Project description:

“Lietuvos Energijos Gamyba” (LEG) – is a company of strategic importance, part of group of companies run by the “Lietuvos Energija” (LE), uniting state-owned electricity generation capacities, one of which is the “Kruonis Power Plant”. The main task of LEG is to contribute to the country’s energy security by concentrating its production capacity. In order to carry out its functions properly and efficiently, the company focus on technical and scientific progress, training of specialists, and intensively implements scientific and technical innovations in its activities. The essence of the project is to significantly improve the system of the floating solar power plant (FPV), adapt it to the working conditions of the hydroelectric (HE) basin (changing water level, freezing water) and develop a new controller based on numerical intelligence algorithm that would enable to provide new services.
