Dr. Gowthamraj Rajendran joins KTU as Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Researcher

Dr. Gowthamraj Rajendran has joined the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Kaunas University of Technology as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Researcher.

His research is dedicated to the design, modeling, and control of next-generation power converter systems, with a strong focus on wide bandgap semiconductor technologies such as Gallium Nitride (GaN) and Silicon Carbide (SiC).

These emerging materials enable higher switching frequencies, improved thermal efficiency, and greater power density, paving the way for compact, reliable, and energy-efficient power converter architectures.

Dr. Rajendran specializes in power electronics, energy management, and sustainable technologies, advancing the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of modern power electronic systems.

Through his work, he aims to contribute to the global transition toward sustainable and intelligent energy systems by combining innovative hardware design with advanced control strategies.
